Sept 27, 2008	Installation of the "fountain surround" pavers -- just before the rainy season arrives!
Sept 20, 2008	A Park Clean Up Day was held from 10 AM to 2 PM. Lots of poop pickups, weeding and trimming, and some filling of the bigger holes should have the park in great shape for Dogtoberfest.
May 14, 2008	FUDDP was recognized at the annual Neighborhood Parks Council Stewardship Awards Luncheon, taking third place honors (and receiving $1,000 for our general fund) as Outstanding Park Group in San Francisco. Many thanks to Elizabeth Statmore and Bill Weil for their glowing nominations for our park (available on our website: 1, 2). [Map for attendees] Add that to getting the nod from NPC as a "Volunteer of the Month" park in January and you could say we are having a pretty good year!.
March 29, 2008	A Park Clean-up Day was held from 9 AM to Noon. We added soil and grass seed, and re-fenced a large central section of the park.

Oct 27, 2007	Dogtoberfest! It was MONTHS in the making - and the three hours of fun, games, costumes, and fund raising came off about as well as could be hoped for (probably even better). Check back here soon for photos, acknowledgements, and results of the fund raising.
Aug 4, 2007	It's time for another park clean-up day! We will be spiffing up our favorite park by picking up dog poop and other trash, and helping our wonderful gardener with any projects he can devise for us, such as filling in holes, patching fences, etc.
